How and where is the surgery done?
The procedure is done in a hospital and performed under general anesthesia. The duration of the procedure is about two and a half to three hours. It is done as an inpatient procedure with a hospital stay of one day.

What is the post-op recovery like?

- 1 week off from work if non-physical
- No driving while taking narcotic medication
- Drains 2-3 weeks
- Swelling for 4-6 weeks
- Exercise: Resume walking immediately. Resume activities at 6 weeks.
- Follow-up appointments after: one week, 6 weeks, 6 months, and 1 year
